Romilly Dennys

Romilly Dennys manages the Talent Management arm of MIP - MiPeople (Media Intelligent People).

MiPeople is a talent management service for award winning writers, poets, photographers, presenters and entrepreneurs.

She also works as an Account Director and is the Training Manager of Pitch Perfect.

Pitch Perfect is a presentation and media coaching company set up by Nick Wood and Jonathan Haslam.

Romilly has a strong background in media relations, governmental relations, international development and fundraising.

Before joining MIP in April 2010 Romilly worked for a government and public relations consultancy which represented international development and governmental organisations.

She worked with The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the world’s largest bilateral development agency, The Association of European Parliamentarians with Africa (AWEPA), which worked to keep Africa high on the political agenda in Europe, and The Nippon Foundation, Japan’s largest grant making organisation.

Romilly was responsible for all the media relations in Africa and worldwide, conference and events, and the organisation and leading of press trips to Ethiopia, South Sudan and Tanzania.

Romilly also has experience of fundraising, having worked as an events and corporate fundraiser for Independent Age, Save the Children & Diabetes UK.

Romilly holds a degree in Human Geography and Politics from the University of Newcastle. In the course of her study she spent seven months working for Greenpeace in Argentina, helping with their campaigns in Buenos Aires.
