Christian Guy

Social policy expert and respected political commentator

Christian Guy

Christian Guy is the Managing Director of The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) – an independent think-tank founded by Iain Duncan Smith MP.

His detailed and insightful understanding of social breakdown has positioned him as an influential voice in the British and international media.

Christian’s analysis was at the forefront of the debate following the August 2011 riots, and consistently dominates a range of national debates from family breakdown to pension reform.

Formerly the CSJ’s Director of Policy, Christian led a number of politically significant policy reviews, including a review of prisons with former cabinet minister Jonathan Aitken.

Christian was speechwriter to former CSJ Chairman the Rt. Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP and is Assistant Director of Jonathan Aitken’s Westminster Forum.

Prior to joining the CSJ in 2007, Christian was a Community Organiser for a partnership of local authorities, police, schools and charities.
